After sharing a drink with two strangers, Solomon discovers that he has been drugged and kidnapped to be sold into slavery in the South on a plantation in Louisiana. Renouncing abandon hope, Solomon watches as everyone around him succumb to violence, emotional abuse and hopelessness. So take incredible risks and decides to trust people less apparent to regain his freedom and be reunited with his family.
