MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2011 film?

You can watch Ashita no Joe, full movie on FULLTV - Big screen adaptation of the classic manga Asao Takamori and Tetsuya Chiba, starring singer / idol Tomohisa Yamashita. The manga tells the history of Jo Yabuki, a young orphan who finds an outlet in boxing in life with the help of his coach, Tange Danpei ex-boxer, and his rise to success thanks to their effort and courage. The manga, which began publishing in 1968, became a popular icon and a banner of the struggle of the lower classes. The history has twice been brought to the small screen, in two legendary anime series, and also had a film adaptation in 1970.
