MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

You can watch Bix, full movie on FULLTV - In 1931, two months after the death of what is considered the largest white musician in the history of jazz, cornetist Leon Bismark " Bix " Beiderbecke, his brother Barnie arrives in New York, at the request of his mother, who wants information about the last weeks of your child's life, but mostly want to know about his girlfriend, who sent him a photograph. After several attempts, Barnie is finally helped by the Italian-American violinist Joe Venuti, who meets the girl in the photo, Lisa, and convinces her to accompany him to Davenport, to meet the family of her alleged boyfriend, promising in return help her become a singer. During the long train ride, Venuti tells Lisa that Bix has never met.
