MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

You can watch Impact, full movie on FULLTV - Impact tells the catastrophe that occurs on the planet because of a strong meteor impacting on the Moon. This causes a number of anomalies on Earth, as the overgrowth of tides or sporadic cases of weightlessness. Everything begins when, while the whole world watches the largest meteor rush the last 10,000 years, a loose asteroid is stamped into the Moon causing a tremendous explosion of rock and debris. Alex Kinter, astrophysicist, is that the moon has deviated from its orbit and is on a collision course with Earth. Fragments of the asteroid, and even the moon itself penetrate Earth's atmosphere impacting against it. Although the initial damage is minimal, panic spreads worldwide. The world's leading scientists, including Kittner, Maddie Rhodes and Roland Emerson, begin to connect the dots and suspect that the moon and its orbit have suffered permanent impairment. Alex, Maddie, Roland and the rest of the team soon discover something even worse: the new orbit of the moon has stood in the way of the Earth, so that collide with it. As of now, the world has 39 days to stop it, or the Earth and all its inhabitants will be annihilated ..
