MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2012 film?

You can watch Mr. Pip, full movie on FULLTV - By 1991, during the early stages of the civil war that ravaged the remote island of Bougainville, Mr. Watts, an eccentric white man, decides to reopen the doors of the school and work as a teacher. His method is to combine the reading aloud of episodes of Great Expectations, his favorite novel by Charles Dickens, with the participation of the common people who want to share tips on how to survive in their environment. Thus, the improvised teacher manages to catch the interest of your teenage students, enthralled by the adventures and misadventures of Pip, a young orphan protagonist of the novel by Dickens.
