MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

You can watch The Abyss, full movie on FULLTV - A team of scientists from an oil installation is hired by the U.S. Navy to carry out the rescue operation of a nuclear submarine trapped in mysterious circumstances in the bottom of the sea, just off the edge of a crack abyssal depths of several kilometers. A group of army special forces escort the scientists. Latter soon begin to suspect that what is happening in the deep ocean is something so strange that, in principle, is beyond comprehension.
