MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2007 film?

You can watch The Beckoning Silence, full movie on FULLTV - Year 1936, the Alps. Four climbers begin climbing the north face of the Eiger. It is the second attempt to climb. "Call of Silence" reconstructs the story of Toni Kurz, a brilliant teenager and mountaineer who, with three other climbers tried to mid thirties conquer the Eiger, the last peak of the Alps remained even crown, a feat would get in 1938 an expedition led by Anderl Heckmair. The film recreates the Kurz odyssey through the experiences of a myth of modern mountaineering, Joe Simpson, who travels to the dangerous north face of Eiger in order to reconstruct what happened to Kurtz and his companions during the expedition, which became in one of the most tragic events in the history of mountaineering.
