MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1968 film?

You can watch The Fixer, full movie on FULLTV - Adapted from " The Fixer ", a novel by American writer of Jewish origin Bernard Malamud, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1967. In Tsarist Russia, between the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, Jews were accused of horrific and bloody crimes, were cruelly persecuted. It was a smokescreen to divert attention from the Russian people's most pressing problems, such as hunger and misery. In this context a Jewish peasant tries to hide its origin to avoid repression. Still, is accused of crimes he did not commit and, without trial, suffer all kinds of physical and psychological torture.
