MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

You can watch Amistad, full movie on FULLTV - In 1839, the servant ship Amistad set sail from Cuba to America. Throughout the long trip, Cinque leads the slaves in an unprecedented uprising. They are then held prisoner in Connecticut, and their launch becomes the main topic of heated debate. Freed slave Theodore Joadson wishes Cinque and the others exonerated and recruits property lawyer Roger Baldwin to help his case. Fundamentally, John Quincy Adams also becomes an ally.
