For several years, Bad Film was a kind of mythological animal for fans of Sion Sono: a mammoth project, the filmmaker shot by the art collective Gagaga Tokyo in 1995, when he was a stranger. The director and his crew filmed 150 hours of footage, but ran out of budget to complete the installation. The film was cornered until last year, the author got down to work and gave way to an epic and delirious vicissitudes. A unique opportunity to see the genius of Sono in its most raw and low cost state.
