Easier said than done. For one thing, Joschi isn't exactly blessed with much self-confidence, and for another, most of the tenants make anything but a trustworthy impression. It's only when Joschi makes friends with Niko, a boy of the same age from Kazakhstan, that the boy seems to acclimatize. But soon the beautiful Jessica drives a wedge between the buddies.
