MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1961 film?

You can watch El Cid, full movie on FULLTV - In the second half of the eleventh century, Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, El Cid, became famous for his victorious campaigns against Muslims. Unjustly accused of treason, Rodrigo kills grieving father of Jimena, who rejects him and locks in a convent. This is the starting point for numerous adventures: the intrigues of Count García Ordóñez, the challenge of King Ramiro of Aragon and his confrontation with Alfonso VI of Castile who banished him.
