Born in the late nineteenth century, Kenji, like many other artists, did not receive the deserved recognition for their great literary contributions even after his death at the early age of 37. "Spring and Chaos " was originally published in Japan in 1996 to thereby mark the centenary of the birth of Miyazawa in rural prefecture, Iwate. "Spring and Chaos " tells the tragic story of Kenji and his struggle to be honest with his art and himself.
