The film was produced and directed by Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising, with young animation Friz Freleng. Leon Schlesinger was credited as an associate producer, and Western Electric appears as the equipment used to make so short. It was made in 1930, the second short film Bosko, who incidentally Harman and Ising created to show Warner Brothers. Bosko became its first star character, later surpassed by Porky Pig and Daffy Duck.
