The river marks the border between Thailand and Laos. In the rooms and terraces, Apichatpong and reconstituted together a film called Ecstasy Garden, which he had written some years ago. The documentary brings together different aspects of reality and fiction, revealing the ties that bind a vampire mother to her daughter, the young lovers in the river.
