MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1978 film?

You can watch Nuevo mundo, full movie on FULLTV - The church, throughout history, has always faced the cinema as one of its main censors. "New World" challenges the myth Guadalupe to present how to subdue the Indians, a Jesuit priest invents the presence of a Virgin asking reconciliation between conquerors and conquered. Retes presents in this film an allegory of the method used by the Spanish to impose their religion and thereby assume a complete political power over the Indians. Produced in 1976, "New World" was boycotted in their exhibition by controversial topic referenced.
