MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

You can watch Shine, full movie on FULLTV - Based on the life of David Helfgott, a boy prodigy, Shine examines his tortured life, from his childhood dominated by her strict father, to reach their breakdowns as an adult. When accepted into a prestigious music college in London, the Royal College of Music, David feels able to escape from his father and also risk everything for his only passion, music. But the rejection of his father and the pressures of his job, just sumiéndole in mental illness. Only the love of a woman who truly understands addition you can save and give back to society in a way to enjoy it with his music.
