MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1928 film?

You can watch The Matinee Idol, full movie on FULLTV - The famous actor Don Wilson, later trials of a new work, go hiking with friends. On the outskirts of the city find a street theater in which a company operates amateur, the first actress, Ginger Bolivar, hired Don as a supporting actor. With it represent to the producer Arnold Wingate melodrama " Civil War ". The producer thinks it's a great stand-up comic, so it offers the company a contract to perform on Broadway.
