Tom Ripley, a young employee of a service company in Manhattan, borrows a Princeton jacket to play piano at a garden party. When the wealthy owner of the house talk to him, makes you think Ripley is partner and college classmate of her son Dickie, then, dad offers thousand dollars if you go to Italy and convince Dickie to come home. When she meets Dickie, a playboy, was fascinated with the lifestyle you lead him and his girlfriend Marge.
