Nur eine Landkommune ist übrig geblieben: das 'Alternative Wohnkollektiv Regenbogen'. Für sie könnte es immer so weiter gehen mit endlosen Konsensdiskussionen, Schafe scheren und nacktem Gemeinschaftsbaden. Eines Tages bekommen die Flachland-Kommunarden Zuwachs durch die beiden Städter Hanne und ihren Sohn Niels. Während Hanne sich überraschend schnell an Schreitherapie und Gemüseaufzucht gewöhnt - und noch viel schneller an die Tantra-Spiele mit Kommunenguru Peter - hat Niels immer weniger Lust auf die dogmatischen WG-Regeln. Aus Trotz schließt er sich dem gewaltbereiten AKW-Widerstand an und bringt das beschauliche Chaos der Kommune damit reichlich durcheinander.
