There the division between Ladino and indigenous breeds was very marked, not caring doctor attending to anyone in your clinic. It also helps to cure an epidemic of typhus in an Indian village located in the mountains, convincing people to burn their houses to prevent the spread of it. In that village he meets Maria, a young indigenous woman of 17 years who is in love.
