He befriends Rokon who shares an imaginary world to protect themselves from the cruelty and absurdity of teaching suffers. The Pakistani military junta invade Bangladesh. Anu goes with her mom to take refuge in the jungle. His father insists that should stay at home to receive those who believe they are their saviors.
