The movie centers around a hard-hitting radio commentator and their conflict with a former classmate who's a suburban town mayor. The radioman's tale runs synchronous to the story of a student-activist away from home together with his activist-girlfriend. These parallel tales are interwoven with a third tale, that the former army man , now their would-be assassin. This killer's unexpected obsession along with his wife results in a climax of murder and mayhem.
