MOVIE SYNOPSIS: You can watch Heimweh... dort wo die Blumen blüh'n, full movie on FULLTV - Disappointed in love, the beautiful Renate wants to take her own life in the Danube. Music teacher Father Benedikt and his choirboys are able to save the girl. Although some of the monastery brothers react with incomprehension, Renate finds refuge in the monastery school. The benevolent abbot manages to track down the man who has Renate's life's weariness on his conscience: Robert Wagner, chief engineer of the Schürmann-Werke. However, he only has eyes for the capricious Erika, his boss's daughter. With combined forces, the abbot and the choirboys persuade the corrupt lover to see reason and ensure a happy ending.
