Following an incident involving a Tonton-Macoute, Fanfan takes refuge at his beautiful neighbour Miki's house. For an entire weekend, he finds himself torn between his fear of being arrested, his desire to cross the street to comfort his mother and the happiness of finally discovering the world of Miki and his beautiful friends. Against a backdrop of poverty and fear inflicted by a ruthless dictatorship, Fanfan tells us his story.
