MOVIE SYNOPSIS: You can watch Le soleil assassiné (The Assassinated Sun), full movie on FULLTV - The poet Jean Senac is a " Pied- Noir " who decided to stay in Algeria after the independence of that country in 1962. Ten years later, the regime's police watching him closely. His poetry recitals throughout the country attract a wide audience and his radio show " Poésie sur tous les fronts " has a great reception among youth. Two students, Hamid and Belkacem, have a play at the National Theatre Festival Algerian, but they fail their goal. However, congratulates Jean Senac, which mitigates some disappointment, and thereafter become friends of the poet and closely contemplate their struggle for cultural freedom in Algeria, leading to his murder, one night in August 1973.
