Because he overspends his inheritance, King Anatolief sends diplomatic representation to Rio de Janeiro to convince him to be more thrifty while Viscount Cascata and Lieutenant Rataplan plan a diabolical plot against the heir who, by this time, promotes a great ball in his mansion during Carnival. The king, who hated violence, accepts the coup against Danilo. As from this moment, the plot increases in confusing and hilarious situations.
