MOVIE SYNOPSIS: You can watch Wer die Heimat liebt, full movie on FULLTV - The hunter Jakob Sonnleitner loves the countryside and nature of his hunting ground. One evening he catches a poacher who has a fatal accident while trying to escape: it is the son of the farmer Hochegger, who is influential in the village. The farmer succeeds in forcing Sonnleitner's dismissal, although there is no doubt that the old hunter is innocent. Sonnleitner is transferred to a hunting ground on Lake Neusiedl. Until the new hunter arrives, his daughter Evi looks after the old hunting ground. The new hunter Konrad Prandtner only realises that he is a protégé of the farmer when Hochegger demands that he let a private creditor shoot a stag in the hunting ground. But the hunter does not agree to the deal.
