MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2002 film?

You can watch A Paixão de Jacobina, full movie on FULLTV - In 1871, in the city of São Leopoldo, a colony of German immigrants struggle to survive in a region marked by the effects of the Paraguay War. It is there where Jacobina Mentz (Letícia Spiller) lives, leader of a religious sect dissenting from Protestantism known as 'the Muckers'. Jacobina has visions and receives messages she believes to be from Jesus Christ, and begins to care for the poor and disabled. As time goes by the community of Mucker's followers increases, causing the leaders of local society to discuss ways to annul the increasing power Jacobina has over the population.
