MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1987 film?

In a remote village in Denmark, dominated by Puritanism, two elderly sisters who have remained unmarried, recall with nostalgia their rigid distant youth and education that forced the resignation of happiness.
