MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?

You can watch Ballast, full movie on FULLTV - It narrates the encounter between a man who has attempted suicide with depressed ex-wife of his brother and his nephew, a teenager teenager hooked on crack. The suicide of a man marks a turning point in the life of three people, inhabitants of a remote village in the Mississippi Delta, where the sky is always gray in winter, where, perhaps, it is always winter. James, the son of the dead man is 12 and begins to take drugs and get into trouble with local bullies. Marlee, as a single mother struggles to raise her son gaining life and underpaid drudgery while feeling powerless over the life course James is taking. Lawrence, a man of middle age, will have to overcome the death of his brother. The tragic event will narrow the links between these three survivors who, until that moment, had lived back to back. The initial violence of their encounters give way, by the grace of necessity, something that seems increasingly more to love. Something like a family glimpsed on the horizon.
