The leader, Don Martin, is a mature human being, with a dark past, which is not right in the head for some time. He is accompanied by his wife, a bitter woman, his mistress, a prostitute from the harbor, their daughter Beatrice, the result of a previous marriage, and Herbie, a young autistic.
