MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1931 film?

You can watch David Golder, full movie on FULLTV - David Golder is a banker fallen into catastrophe after suffering a severe heart attack at a casino in the Riviera. When bad news about the financial health of the stretch, the actions of their companies collapse. Thus, from the overnight, Golder is discovered in bankruptcy ; ruined, sick and abandoned by his wife and his only daughter, are held in an empty apartment in Paris. While he has lost everything, still has the fighting spirit and love for the risk they allowed to leave the ghetto miserable Ukrainian birthplace and become one of the wealthiest men in France. When the opportunity to become rich again appears before him, Golder will not hesitate a second to embark on the adventure, which will take you to some scenes of his adolescence. The risk, no less than his own life, is great, but the gain is, in their eyes, even more: get a fortune greater than the previous one and get his daughter, the only person I wanted in this world. Adapted from the novel by Irène Nemirowsky, Jewish writer who died gassed at Auschwitz.
