MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1958 film?

You can watch Der Bettelstudent, full movie on FULLTV - At the time of Augustus the Strong, the Saxon governor Colonel Ollendorf leads an autocratic regiment in occupied Krakow. When the beautiful Comtesse Laura rejects him in front of everyone at a festival, he wants to take revenge on her. He promises the imprisoned poor student Symon his freedom if he poses as a nobleman and manages to marry Laura. Ollendorf's calculation seems to work, because Laura falls in love with the young man.
