MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1962 film?

You can watch Der Vogelhändler, full movie on FULLTV - Once a year, Elector August the Small of Biberstein wishes to escape from his government business: under the pretext of going to Kreuzlingen to hunt, he actually sets off for Paris to explore the nightlife there. In his place, he sends his nephew Count Stanislaus to his hunting lodge. But the Electress is suspicious and travels to Kreuzlingen incognito with her chambermaid to check whether her husband really does go on a wild goose chase in patent leather shoes. This is the prelude to a dizzying round of amorous confusions in which Christel von der Post and her sweetheart, the bird dealer Adam, are also drawn in.
