MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1936 film?

You can watch Fährmann Maria, full movie on FULLTV - After the mysterious death of a village boatman, start rumors that the river is cursed. Therefore no inhabitant takes the job, but is desperately needed. But then Maria, a homeless homeless job seeker, agrees to be the new barquera the people. In his first night she discovers at risk, when a wounded soldier seeks refuge from his pursuers. Maria begins to care for him, and little by little the strange falling. One night another man comes looking for the soldier, forcing Maria to use any means to save his love.
