MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

You can watch Francesco, full movie on FULLTV - In 1226, later than the death of St. Francis of Assisi, his closest friends, including Santa Clara, speak of the saint's life. Francisco was born into a family of wealthy merchants and lives surrounded by amenities. But one day he comes face to face with human suffering, and their existence changes dramatically: the existence of God is made clear by the poor, and since then decided to live as Jesus Christ, giving up all their wealth and living in communion with nature.
