James Woods stars in the explosive and unpredictable Bill Wilson, unable to control his desire for alcohol. Jo Beth Williams stars as Louis -suffering wife, who is separated from her husband for her own inability to help. Louis, desperate, consider bringing them into a sanitarium, where Bill found this had a fit of alcoholism and ends tied to a hospital bed. Bill tries to stop drinking but it is unattainable, thus resorting to a friend Dr. Bob Smith who shares wine dependence. It's a true story about hope, courage and love. This movie is part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame saga (1957, 1958, 1961, 1963, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1965, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1968, 1969, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1988, 1989).
