MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1998 film?

You can watch Hathi, full movie on FULLTV - Five thousand years ago, in India, elephants were already being captured and trained for war, for parades and as religious animals. This film, shot in 1998, shows the life of young Makbul raised in contact with elephants, some wild and some domesticated, in southern India. Despite his mother's objections, little Makbul determined to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather and become a mahout. The film is part of the Tales for All collection.
