MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1998 film?

You can watch Kanzo sensei, full movie on FULLTV - 1945, the eve of the Japanese surrender. Amid a tense atmosphere of war, Dr. Akagi, a fishing village doctor in one of the Japanese islands, is appalled by the number of people affected by hepatitis falling, the leading cause of death in the country malnourished. Faced with this serious situation involved decides to save his professional integrity. He allies with old colleagues, a monk who has hung habits, a surgeon nihilistic morphine addict and a woman, made a team outside the Japanese military society.
