MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1971 film?

You can watch La région centrale, full movie on FULLTV - Filmed entirely with a robotic camera placed on top of a mountain in the middle of the Canadian wilderness in winter. The camera had a mechanical arm that allowed movement in any direction, even upside down could record. Using instructions recorded on a magnetic tape, Michael Snow could control the movement of the arm, creating short routines that had to be checked and scheduled daily. The only sound you hear are beeps and electronic sounds synchronized with the movement of the camera. In an interview, Michael Snow said his goal was to show the type of images that an alien spaceship landed on Earth that would transmit to their planet.
