MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1960 film?

You can watch Schlußakkord, full movie on FULLTV - Die Librettistin Linda Valore will das musikalische Ereignis 'Peon Messias' zum grossen Erfolg der Salzburger Festspiele machen. Die Proben haben erst begonnen, als der Tenor absagt und sich die Festspieldirektion von der Aufführung distanziert. Auslöser dieser Katastrophe ist Frank Leroux, der KOmponist. Ständig ändert er sein Werk, beschimpft den Tenor als unfähigen Hinterhofsänger und attackiert den Dirigenten Alexander von Berkin mit seiner Eifersucht. Es ist Linda Valore, die das Ruder herumreißt, um das Projekt nicht sterben zu lassen. Tag und Nacht wird in Schloss Klesheim geprobt, der Startenor Carlo del Monti verpflichtet und Frank Laroux wegen seines Alkoholproblems in ein Sanatorium eingewiesen. Die Uraufführung dieses einmaligen Werkes steht bevor, doch dramatische Auseinandersetzungen gefährden die Premiere. Wieder ist es der begnadete, jedoch von Zweifeln zerfressene Komponist Frank Laroux, der sein Werk für wertlosen Müll hält.
