MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2001 film?

You can watch Sennen joyû, full movie on FULLTV - Thirty years ago, Chiyoko Fujiwara was the biggest star of Japanese cinema, however, suddenly disappeared. One of his biggest fans, documentary filmmaker Genya Tachibana, travels up the mountain secluded retreat where you live to interview. Once there, delivered to your youth idol an old key he found in the wreckage of his old studio. As if the key had opened the doors of his memory, Chiyoko starts to remember the legend of his life. In this way, traveling from the remote past to the distant future through a thousand years, crossing the border between reality and the movies that have shaped much of his life.
