MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1940 film?

You can watch The Bank Dick, full movie on FULLTV - Funny comedy, of which W. C. Fields had almost absolute control. Apart from being the main character, the actor wrote the screenplay with the curious pseudonym Mahatma Kane Jeeves. Actually the plot is completely nonsensical, almost mere excuse to build character gags on Egbert Souse, a kind of alter ego of Fields, or at least the image I had of him the public. The actor gives life to a drunkard, who happened to stop a bank robber. From there comes a brilliant career detective, almost despite himself, as he even tries to participate in a scam.
