MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

You can watch The Headsman, full movie on FULLTV - During the period of the Inquisition, in the sixteenth century in Europe, two childhood friends are following very different paths. Orphans raised in a monastery, Georg decides to religious life and Martin chooses the army. After 15 years fighting in wars, Martin returns home, where his friend church now occupies a prestigious position. Martin falls in love and home with the daughter of a headsman. By a fluke of fate and against his will, the soldier ends up having to take the post of executioner, work marginalized by society but which, however, he exercises efficiently. While Igreja, powerful and uncompromising, makes the laws and covers up the serious deviations of conduct for its members, Martin and Georg van apart. Before long, both will be in opposite sides and they will realize that they have become mortal enemies.
