Corruption has taken over the institutions and even law enforcement. Thomas McQuigg, an honest police captain, has been transferred by his superiors to a district police station to keep him out. But he does not give up: with the help of Johnson, a policeman so upright and brave as he embarks on a relentless crusade against one of the most influential gangster in the city.
