Her recent divorce has caused a deep depression and writer's block. Patti, her best friend, begins to worry and decides to give him a ten day stay in Tuscany. Once there, Frances becomes infatuated with a village called " Bramasole " and decided to buy it. The house needs many reforms, but French is willing to undertake them. As he adapts to his new lifestyle will make friends among their neighbors.
