MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1947 film?

You can watch Whispering City, full movie on FULLTV - A reporter learns that in addition a famous actress is dying in the hospital, then being hit by a car. He goes to the hospital to interview the actress and also tells him that her boyfriend died in an accident several years earlier, was actually murdered. Soon the reporter is in the midst of a web of corruption, mental illness and crime.
